Speculation: Wreck-it Ralph Playset, Toy Story Playset, and Girl Pack

  • As you may know, Rapunzel, Jack, and the Toy Story gang will be released in October. However, Ralph and Vanellope will not be releasing in October, they will be released on December 10th. I'm wondering if this is because they plan on making a Wreck-it Ralph playset. Fix-It Felix and Sugar Rush are already represented in the game, but Hero's Duty is not. They could be making a Hero's Duty themed set.

Extreme speculation aside, let's move on to a more probably speculation. So some of you may know a Girl Pack was accidentally confirmed by some website that sold Disney Infinity items that there is a Girl Pack. Obviously this pack will contain females. The only female characters in the game, Holley, Jessie, Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, and Vanellope. However, Holley is part of the Cars Playset pack, so she will not be included, and Vanellope is the last female of the other five to be released, so assuming she isn't part of some unannounced playset pack, she is still the least likely character to be in the pack, because Disney would probably want this pack to be released as soon as possible. That leaves four characters, two of which are from Frozen. Again, Disney probably wouldn't want to release two characters from the same series in the same pack. So the pack will likely contain Jessie, Anna Or Elsa (probably Anna as she is the main character of Frozen) and Rapunzel. And if Jessie is part of this pack, that means she would be a stand-alone character, and not in the expansion playset. So Woody and Buzz would probably be the toyset characters, which makes a lot of sense.

But again, this is all speculation. None of it is confirmed, just theories.

    • Violet. Skylanders did that, where although some figures are released in singular packs earlier. Later on, to save money they include some old characters in newer three packs. So maybe they split it off in two. One with like Violet, Jessie and Elsa. And another in December with Vanellope, Anna and Rapunzel.

Oh god, I forgot about Violet and Mrs. Incredible. And I'm getting Violet. Man that brings shame to me.

But yeah, that's possible too. Didn't think of that.

Oh yes because how Skylanders sold their toys should be exactly like how DI sells theirs. -_-

I'd imagine they would have similar sale tactics actually.

    • Probably, but re-selling an old character among a new one....that's just....stupid., At least with characters like SYndrome, you can either buy him in a set or seperately. The odds of re-selling him with another set is just....unneeded. I'm quite positive Disney Interactive's sale tactics are smarter than that. That and the fact that people keep comparing the two in every way is ANNOYING....

Well in terms of Figurines, they are quite similar, but yea I agree. I'd imagine the pack would come out as soon as possible.

I know, exactly what I mean. They use the figurines. That's the thing similar between each other. The only thing too. It isn't a ripoff or anything, but it wouldn;t be a bad guess for Disney to market them like Skylanders did.
