Reception[]

Although it did not sell well, the Frozen Toy Box Pack received good reviews from both consumers and critics alike. Chris Carter of destructoid.com wrote "I can heartily recommend (the Toy Box Pack) for any fan of Disney Infinity." While he said Anna was not his favorite character, he called Elsa "the highlight of the pack." adding "I'd love to see more of these (toy box packs)."[9] Brian Dumlao of worthplaying.com gave the pack a 7.0 out of 10, calling it "a good example of how individual characters from a related film should be packaged." He praised the fact that the pack included the Frozen Power Discs so that fans of the film did not have to spend so much time and money hunting them down; and while he praised the abilities and overall gameplay of Elsa, he criticized those of Anna, saying that her moves felt "recycled", and that only Elsa seemed "to have gotten any real attention".[10] Ned Jordan of gamerstemple.com gave the pack 4.5/5 stars, and said "Fans of Frozen should be happy with this Toy Box Set, as long as they can get past the disappointment that it doesn't come with its own story adventure."[11]

Trivia[]

  • The Toy Box Pack's packaging in Europe is different from the packaging in North America. The two designs are identical except for the backgrounds: while the North American background is light blue, the European background is purplish-pink with falling snowflakes behind Anna and darker blue with snowy mountains behind Elsa.
  • Although the Frozen Toy Box Pack was officially released on November 26, 2013, some retailers accidentally placed the pack on shelves two days early, on the 24th.[12]
