Dragon Gate is first available in Disney Infinity 1.0.
How to obtain:
- 1.0 and 2.0: It is unlocked by placing a MagicBand on the Disney Infinity Base.
- 3.0: It is available to be purchased in the Toy Store for Sparks.
Once placed in a Toy Box, the Dragon Gate itself does nothing. However, after a period of time, the Disney Dragon will appear in the sky.
Disney Infinity 1.0 Only[]
Three Prize Capsules will eventually appear inside the gate itself which, when collected, will grant (in no particular order):
- Dragon's Keep (a dragon-themed Prebuilt Toy Box World),
- the Dragon's Flight Sky Skydome, and
- the Dragon's Domain Texture Set.
They have been observed to take around thirty minutes for each to appear.[1]
Trivia[]
- In Disney Infinity 1.0, the inside of the Dragon Gate is lined with many broken pieces of other toys, like the Action Button and the ESPN Basketball Hoop. Presumably, the is to to represent the dragon having made its nest inside the gate. However, these items are not present at the gate in Disney Infinity 2.0 or 3.0.
