|An Exogorth in the reveal trailer for Disney Infinity 3.0.|
Exogorths, also known as Space Slugs, are creatures in the Star Wars saga. They are large, worm-like creatures that inhabit asteroids and eat creatures that fly past. They appeared in Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition, probably as enemies in the Rise Against the Empire Play Set. They were seen in the reveal trailer for Disney Infinity 3.0.
Exogorths are very large creatures that inhabit tunnels in asteroids in deep space. They have long, fat bodies that resemble that of a worm. They have a large mouth full of large, sharp teeth, as well as two large brown eyes on either side of their head. Their bodies are colored tan. They hide in their tunnels, waiting to poke their heads out and eat creatures that fly past.
In Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Han Solo, having flown the Millennium Falcon into an asteroid field in an attempt to evade the Imperial fleet, used a crater inside an asteroid as a place to hide. However, unbeknownst to him, the ship had actually been swallowed by an Exogorth. The crew of the Falcon spent the night inside the creature's stomach, and then try to find a way to repair the ship's broken hyperdrive. They then realized that the ship's wiring has been chewed by parasitic winged creatures called Mynocks. When they emerged from the ship to view the extent of the damage, Leia realized that the ground inside the "asteroid" did not feel like rock. Suspicious, Han used his blaster to shoot the inside of the "asteroid", which immediately began to quake. The crew rushed back into the Falcon and hastily reactivated the ship. As they boosted their way out of the cave, the Exogorth began to shut its jaws. Leia thought the cave was collapsing, but Han had figured out that they were not in a cave. Han managed to narrowly escape the closing jaws of the beast and blasted off into space to find a new place to repair his ship.
