|Anakin Skywalker's Podracer|
|The Podracer being driven by Anakin.|
|Name||Anakin Skywalker's Podracer|
Anakin Skywalker's Podracer is a vehicle in the Star Wars saga. It appears as a rideable vehicle in Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition. It was first seen on the leaked image of the box art for Disney Infinity 3.0, being driven by Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Anakin's Podracer is basically made up of a cockpit and two engines. The cockpit is round, and is blue with grey stripes. It houses all of the pod's controls. The pod has two engines, which provide the boost for the pod. Their bodies are colored blue, while their engine intakes are yellow. Connected to the cockpit are two engine lines, each of which is connected to one of the engines to hold it in place. If an engine line is severed, the engine goes flying out of control, and the pod crashes. The two engines are held together by a beam of hot pink energy, called an energy binder, that prevent the two engines from flying out of control.
While Anakin Skywalker was a slave to parts dealer Watto on Tatooine in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, he secretly made a podracer in his spare time, hoping to race it in the Boonta Eve Classic. When Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi came to the planet, Anakin and the Jedi devised a plan to get Anakin into the race and to help the Jedi repain Queen Amidala's damaged ship. Qui-Gon told Watto, who was unaware that Anakin had made the pod, that he had acquired the pod in a game of chance. He made a deal with Watto that if Analin won the race, Watoo would keep Anakin's winnings from the race minus the parts needed to fix the Queen's ship; if Anakin lost, Watto would keep the ship. Watto agreed, but he also bet against Anakin, placing his money on another racer, Sebulba. Qui-Gon then bet Watto that if Anakin won, he would be able to come with the Jedi to Coruscant; and if he lost, Watto could keep the podracer.
Before the race began, Sebulba sabotaged Anakin by tearing off a piece of his pod. This caused Anakin to be unable to start his pod when the race began. Anakin quickly adjusted the fuel settings and raced to catch up to the rest of the racers. Anakin rapidly passed most of the other racers, using the force to strengthen his reflexes. Ani was slowed on the way by a group of Tusken Raiders and the cheater Sebulba. At one point in the race, Sebulba caused another racer to crash his pod, and the debris from the crash hit Ani's pod, knocking one of his engine lines free from the pod's body. Using the force to keep from crashing, Ani used a magnet to grab the engine line and reattach it to the pod. Going into the third lap, Ani and Sebulba were in the lead. Sebulba tried multiple times to eliminate Ani from the race, all unsuccessful. Finally, he attempted to slam his pod into Anakin's to cause it to crash, but the sides of the pods caught onto each other. Sebulba tried to rip the pods apart, and finally caused a piece to break free from Ani's pod, but Ani was unharmed and stayed in the race. The separation caused Sebulba's pod to go flying out of control, and its engines exploded, taking Sebulba out of the race. With no one else to compete with him for first place, Ani won the race, and was able to travel with the Jedi to Coruscant on their newly repaired ship.
