"Padawan Ahsoka Tano here. What's the situation?"
-Ahsoka Tano, when placed on the Disney Infinity Base

Ahsoka Tano is a protagonist in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and a supporting character in Star Wars Rebels. She appears as a playable character in Disney Infinity: 3.0 Edition, and she is playable in all three Star Wars play sets.[2] She is sold in the starter pack of the game, as well as with the Star Wars: Twilight of the Republic Play Set; and is available at launch.[3] She was confirmed playable on Toy Box TV,[4] but was first seen in the leaked image of the Disney Infinity 3.0 starter pack.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Ahsoka first appeared in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie. She was assigned by Yoda to Anakin Skywalker to be his padawan. Anakin initially did not want her as a padawan, but after they went on a mission together, he changed his mind. After the two worked to return Jabba the Hutt's baby to him, she continued to serve as Anakin's padawan throughout the Star Wars: The Clone Wars series.

Abilities

Ahsoka fights with her trademark double lightsabers, which are designed to hit multiple enemies at one time.[5] She is Force sensitive, and as such, she has all basic Force-related abilities, as well as a few unique ones unlocked through her Skill Tree. These include her Force Finisher, Spinning Salvation (which causes her to do a spinning attack during her Force Dash); and Power of the Force, which causes her to lift enemies into the air with the Force and then smash them into the ground. Among her other abilities are a Super Jump, a Block Breaker, an Air Assault, and the ability to deflect blaster shots with her lightsaber. Her special ability is Lightsaber Throw, which causes her to throw her lightsabers out in front of her and then bring them back to her.

Development

A large reason why the designers of Disney Infinity 3.0 wanted to include a play set based on Star Wars: The Clone Wars is because of Ahsoka. The team prefers to add to each play set pack and starter pack at least one male character and one female character, because of the large number of both male and female fans the game has; and when Lucasfilm requested that the game's starter pack play set be based on the Star Wars backstory rather than the original trilogy, Ahsoka felt like the natural choice to team up with Anakin Skywalker. Besides this, the team felt that Ahsoka would be a good character to play as, given her unique set of skills and abilities.[6]

Trivia

  • Ahsoka is voiced in-game by Ashley Eckstein, who voiced her in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and continues to voice her in Star Wars Rebels.[1]
  • Ahsoka is the only playable character to wield two lightsabers in-game (even though characters like Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul have wielded two lightsabers on occasions during their appearances).
    • Because of her having two lightsabers, this prevented her from receiving a Light FX variant figure, due to said lightsabers as technological improvements would have been required for both of her blades to light up when placed on the base, had she received a Light FX figure, she would have been the only female Light FX variant.
  • Ahsoka is the only female Jedi playable in the game.
  • Her voice actress is also the creator of the Star Wars clothing line Her Universe.
